Bottle Hill Day

Madison NJ

October 7, 2000

On October 7th, the Merkur Club of America and Open Mind Associates held the third annual 'gathering' at Madison's Bottle Hill Day in New Jersey.  Bottle Hill day is an annual event which includes a street fair, ethnic foods, crafts, a petting zoo, clowns and music.

In the main station parking lot a large car show is held which attracts a wide range of vintage, street rod, custom and contemporary cars and trucks.  The organizers do a good job of judging the cars and awarding a wide selection of prizes.  This year George Schults was awarded a 'Top 50' plaque - a prestigious award in such a wide and varied field.

Photos of the day's event.

Eve Ziminski (aka 'Cookie Lady') had made a large selection of deserts to round the evening off, including such delicacies as Spooky Spice cake with "Chocolate Bleeding Heart" frosting, Devil's Food cake with chocolate buttercream frosting and Chocolate "Crypt" chip cookies!

A crowd at Dave's MCA table look at his album of pictures from Watkins Glen 2000.  Great job keeping the albums up to date Dave & Eve.
