These are my pictures from the 1999 Merkur gathering at Carlisle, PA which took place on June 4-6th. 166 proud Merkur owners attended this event at the All Ford Nationals; this won us the largest club award - a great embarrassment to the other more established clubs! Attendees drove from as far afield as Florida and Texas to join us in a full weekend of camaraderie, discussion, a wonderful awards dinner, a mile-long convoy of cars and more. This was the forth year Merkurs attended the All Ford Nationals and every year gets better. If you haven’t been - plan on attending next year. I have split the categories into seven different pages. In order to facilitate fast downloading of these pages, I have limited full-size images, and have provided hyperlinks and brief descriptions of each photo. Just click on the photo you wish to view and the full size image will appear. If anyone wants reprints made - feel free to email me and I will try to supply them. In addition, if I have made any errors or omissions, or if someone prefers that their photo is not used, let me know and I will correct the situation. |
