Bill Miller of Carlisle Events announces that Jason
Liss is the winner of the 1986 XR4Ti Give-Away car.

One of the most memorable Carlisle's ever saw 236 Merkurs on the showfield for 3 fun filled days. We had our obligatory rain on Friday but by Saturday it was dry and Sunday was sunny and HOT. There were plenty of Merkur stories being told, and lots of last minute prep being done to the cars before judging.

Showfield Seminars
On Saturday, Dave Planakis held the Merkur faithful spellbound with a very informative seminar on the XR4Ti vacuum system, and problems encountered when vacuum leaks occur. Sunday morning under the tent, Chris Grayson and Chris Anglin gave a hands-on demonstration of suspension modifications to a packed house.

Dave Planakis explains some of the tools and tricks of the trade.
