The Hotel & Parking Lot

The partying continued late into the night on Friday (despite a short interruption by the Boys in Blue). Merkurs continued arriving, old friendships rekindled and new ones forged. In the morning, the parking lot was a place to clean that morning dew off the car before heading for the show-field. It was a wonderful sight.

After the Awards Banquet, the Saturday night scene was incredible with some hard-core Merkurites leaving the parking lot around 6am on Sunday to go and search out breakfast. A wonderful scene of Merkur camaraderie and a wealth of technical knowledge being exchanged.
