Carlisle 2003 Photo Page

Well the big event of the year is over, and we can savor the pictures for the next year. Despite rain on and off through the weekend, everyone agrees that this was an incredible show. We had 120 Merkurs on the showfield which was a grand showing and enough to earn us second place against the Galaxie Club with 127 cars.

So many memories and stories told. The convoys, the Parking lot sessions and impromptu repair sessions, the cleaning and polishing, the award presentation, the first rate seminars, oh and the rain! Yes, this was the wettest Carlisle so far, but it takes a lot to dampen the spirits of Merkur owners. Look on the bright side, this was the only Carlisle that I didn't return home with sunburn on the backs of my legs!
