The Showfield



The tent is the main focal point of the Merkur Club exhibit, providing everyone with a place to register, meet friends buy club merchandise and shelter from the rain!

The showfield is where it all happens at Carlisle.  For those of you that haven't been there, it's like a state fairground with cars instead of hogs!  Bill Miller runs a tight ship and the entire Carlisle Productions staff are a pleasure to deal with. 

This year the count was 119 official entries,  and the standard and selection of cars was like no other year.  From Stuart Matthew's World Rally Championship replica to Attila Nyiradi's green monster, there was plenty to look at.  The show standard was very high - making the judge's job all the harder.

Stuart Matthew's World Rally Championship replica Sierra turned the heads of everyone at the show.  The car is street legal replica of the only Sierra to win a World Rally Championship.
